studio e is delighted to invite you to our first Artist Reception in over a year, this Saturday, August 14th.  Painters Molly Magai, Jay Stern, and Emil Robinson will be in attendance between 5-7pm.

In here:
This show brings together a group of paintings that explore how we define and experience interior and exterior spaces and the characteristics by which we know them. Private versus public, inside versus outside, natural versus created -- all these are intuitive distinctions that orient our world without our truly being aware of it. What is it about certain images that strikes a chord of quiet domesticity at one extreme or industrial spaciousness at the other, and how do these qualities in the environment influence our moods and the boundaries we perceive in our environment and ourselves?
