We've had so much fun with the families who have attended Early Enrichment at MoNA on Wednesdays. Last week we made leaf rubbings with color crayons and had so much fun in the studio making art together!
Inspiration Friday: Art Lesson Archives
Caterpillar to Butterfly Painting
Welcome to another Inspiration Friday! Today, we're excited to highlight a special lesson from our Art Lesson Archives called Caterpillar to Butterfly Painting. In this lesson, students will explore the transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly and complete a hands-on activity inspired by artwork by Eric Parnell.

You can download this lesson for free here:
https://www.monamuseum.org/painting-lessons

Visit our website to check the archives:

The MoNA Art Lesson Archives is an unique resource featuring an expanding collection of comprehensive lesson plans inspired by Northwest artists. The lessons have been thoughtfully crafted throughout the years of the MoNA Link Program, and viewers can download plans in a wide range of media. We have made it a priority to highlight underrepresented artists from the Northwest and welcome suggestions of how to improve and expand this resource. #artlessonarchives
