On Feb. 9, 2024, we partnered with the Office of Economic Development and Seattle Center on Creative Economy Career Day. Youth ages 14-24 had direct access to creative industry professionals and learned about a wide range of career opportunities.

We invite Seattle Public School educators, arts team members, and community art partners to attend this standing Microsoft Teams meeting. This is an opportunity to ask questions, give feedback, or connect about an idea or problem. Occurs every Thursday, 3 - 4 p.m. Pacific.

  What the Funk?! An All BIPOC Burlesque Festival sizzles at the Triple Door in August  What the Funk?!, the Northwest’s only all BIPOC burlesque festival graces the stage of the Triple Door August 19th-21st.  Opening night kicks off with emcee and special guest Foxy Tann with a guest appearance by RedBone and Pacific Northwest featured performers Ava D'Jor and Willy Nilly. Night two is our showcase with emcee Jeez Loueez, the number one burlesque personality in the world via 21st Century Burlesque. This evening will also showcase headliner performances by GiGi Holliday and Samson Night and Pacific Northwest featured performers Lola Coquette and Monday Blues.   Night three is Grand Master Funk Competition with emcee RebeccaMm Davis and headliners Ms. Briq House and Moscato Extatique and a special performance by Foxy Tann and the Wham Bam Thank You Ma’ams!
