Welcome Pepe Montero as La Sala's new Executive Director

La Sala is thrilled to announce the appointment of José Luis "Pepe" Montero as our new Executive Director (part-time)!

Pepe brings a wealth of experience in the arts, technology, and advocacy, with a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of Latinx artists.

NEW: Arts Funding and Sponsorship Online Application Form

The team of La Sala has put together an online application form for all Latine/x individuals and organizations who seek funding or non-monetary sponsorship from us. We fund artistic projects that take place in the greater Seattle area, align with La Sala's mission and values, and demonstrate a strong Latine/x community impact and artistic merit.

For more information about Eligibility Criteria, Submission Guidelines and Selection Process, please visit the La Sala's Funding Application Form, where you can apply as well.

APPLY: 6th annual ACES (Artists of Color Expo & Symposium) looking for artists

ACES is a BBIA-led (Black, Brown, Indigenous and Asian) community-curated program featuring art exhibits, live performances, film screenings, and artist talks. This year's symposium will take place August 16 – 17, 2024 at KEXP at Seattle Center. Artists are invited to apply to exhibit, perform, and share their art, expertise, and passion. Applicants can choose one of four categories (visual art, film/video, performance or Seattle Restored Market @ ACES). All artists are paid to participate. Applications close April 1, 2024 at midnight. For more information on how to apply, please visit: https://shunpike.org/aces/
